Sunday is supposed to be great in Arizona!
I had to look. 70% chance of snow on Sat, but Sunday will be great!!

We seriously need to re-group on the December event. We have this same conversation every year and turn-out usually sucks no matter what the weather eventually ends up doing. For what????

Nope, I do this sport for fun, when it's not fun, I'll do something else.
Scoring and riding in extreme cold is not fun.

I post one of me not! It should be mid-60 in my shop but not much sun!

You should ride master and get 2nd or maybe champ and get 1st.
It should be easy to podium in expert as well!

Been practicing in the snow for 2 weeks for this event!

Seriously Gordy, you need to bring Jake out, he'll have fun.

NMTrialsGuy says there's a little known rule about a five point penalty in the standings for practicing between events.

Just got off the phone with Lance, who is out at San Ysidro right now. The club policy is that if the highway is open, the trial is on. The road in is clear, there's no snow on the ground, and "it's a balmy 28 degrees." I assume he meant Fahrenheit.

I won't be going out even if I wanted to brave the cold, because my father-in-law has repo'd the trailer we were borrowing to haul bikes.

Hey ya'll, I'm a little ways up north but am looking to get into trials without spending a ton on my first bike. Is the club website for sale section updated pretty regularly? There is a 03 Cota on there I'm interested in but want to know if it is still a relevant ad before I call the guy.

I also tried to correspond with this fellow but he hasn't gotten back to me...

Sorry, not sure who is updating the web page this year. The '98 Monty looks like it's worth hunting down.

In that case, I think I have something like a 12,000 point penalty....

Bummer. You could always lash the bikes onto the family truckster.

Miss Bitters and I won't be out until tomorrow. She decided to go to work today to try and keep up with the ridiculous amount of work that got dumped onto public school teachers this year. This will be the first time all year that I did not camp at a Trials event.

That Montessa looks like a good deal for $1300. If the bike is running and no major issues jump all over it.

Contact Trevor and inquire. He will know who has what for sale.

I know nothing about that particular year and model but the price seems right!!

That would be awesome if you got into this and would come down and ride with us occasionally. It's a blast!

This weekends weather is an anomaly and it is usually good enough to ride all winter.
Oh wait……………some dopes guys think it is good enough to ride this Sunday!

9AM "feel like temp" of 11 degrees with 14 MPH wind. My kind of day!!

Can I see that "club policy"? The highway is always open!
