Motorcycle Safety Education Advisory Board Meeting Dec. 12, 2013

This is a heads up that there is a Motorcycle Safety Education Advisory Board meeting this week, Dec 12, 3 to 5 PM.

This is our chance, as the riding public of Washington, to voice our concerns and ask questions about the laws governing how we ride in Washington. This only happens four times a year. So come out and support your the riding community and tell your friends.

The Agenda was just published this week:

Examples of things you may be interested in discussing in the “Public Forum”:
· Do you think Washington State’s Basic Rider, Intermediate Rider, and Experienced Rider Courses needs to be updated? Recall back to taking your test, did you feel you were prepared to take on the ‘mean streets’ when you got your Washington State endorsement?
· Would you like additional discounts insurance discounts for taking additional training?
· How do we get insurance companies on board to offer discounts for additional motorcycle training?
· Should additional motorcycle training be recognized on our driver’s licenses?
