Nice pics.
We owned a photography studio for 29 years, no "clothing consultation" was necessary. I said, "What are you wearing?"... then said, "What am I wearing?"

Nice Lammy, Fizzy. There's something so "elemental" about those old scoots that's very appealing.

Hiya

They're a mixture of 125cc and 150cc two-strokes.

With the exception of the Model A, the gears are shifted on the L/H handlebar twistgrip - using a teleleflex cable. The later models had two cables - one pushing - one pulling the gear selector in/on the crankcase.

The Blue Model A has a 'toe and heel' gear selector on the right of the footboard with the rear brake pedal at the rear of it - it's a bit of a 'black art' shifting smoothly TBH.

Oh, and the Model A (1946) and B (1947) have the brake linings attached to the inside of the drum, with just metal shoes pressing against them when the brakes are applied - rather than on regular brake shoes as we know them.
