No, No

There's lots of stuff.

All the roads up & around Satiago Peak(which is very close to AV). All the Big Bear area, Idyllwild area, Palomar Mtn area, Anza Borrego State Park, high desert, Johnson Valley, etc...

Pick up a Benchmark mapbook, and also check out the West regional thread. There really is 'some' trail riding left in SoCal.

Pre-congrats on that retirement.

This is really good news, and quite unexpected as I thought off-road riding was pretty much closed up in SoCal except for the deserts. I remember about 25 years ago trying to get up to Satiago Peak unsuccessfully from both the Silverado and Corona sides as it was closed up to everyone. So this has changed? I do remember the south & east side of Big Bear being open, but even then the thought was not for long... I'm feeling much better about this as my wife really want to retire there. I'm perfectly happy staying in AZ, but now looking forward to riding in these places you listed! - Thanks!

So how about my other toy - a RZR side x side; don't tell me these can be street legal in SoCal and there are places to ride them off road as well (besides the desert)?

No street legal side-by-sides in Calif. Period.
The RZR is the best, (and I formerly worked at an Arctic Cat shop)

This morning, I checked out Car's N Coffee in Irvine. This event is fantastic, but go early. These dudes leave the gathering by 800am.

Darn goose jumped in my pic, jerk!

Good mix of everything

I have no idea...

Pretty cool Sam! I've been to that a long time ago. It's tough to get up and going that early.

Samthg,

Just sold my Stelvio last month, and miss it. Seeing your photo almost made me cry.

Scootin' up to Annenberg

My 4th ride with the scooter group took us up to Century City, CA. to visit the Annenberg Space for Photography. The center had a tribute to 125 years of Nat Geo's photos, and most amazing, it was!

This is my first time to CC, which is basically located near Westwood, home of U.C.L.A.. Turned out to be a great experience and another fantastic 12 bike scooter ride. From my home start point, the trip was just over 80 miles.

Unfortunately, no camera's were allowed in the center, thus no pics of the inside.

They accomodate m/c's very well.

Not all found the display that exciting, but most did!

Yep, her!

Steel and glass everywhere

Gearing up for the ride back home. Here's 87 years young Tony, wanting to hit the road!

The ride back was staying south on Hwy 1, under the runways of LAX, toward Long Beach. Nice ride back with a setting sun.

Another great SoCal day to be on two wheels.
Check us out.

Scootermania!! Looks fun. Nice pics of the glass and steel.

I'll bet the Nat Geo pics were spectacular as well. See you.
