Shame on me for trying to get a head start on my move.

Let my misfortune be a lesson for you, if you are storing anything in a trailer or a camper check regularly or store it someplace else.
Power washers must be a hot ticket item. My former neighbor (a painter), had one stolen out of his trailer a couple of years ago. They broke the lock and carted it off. Nothing else was touched. Another neighbor across the street also had one stolen, but his was just out sitting on his car port under a cover.

Weird, because I kept a portable air compressor on my car port for years (before I built the garage) tucked under my radial arm saw.... also on the car port. The only thing I've had taken was a 6-pack of MGD I left sitting out one winter for a couple of hours while I was doing other things.

Guess I've been lucky.

The craziest power washer theft I heard was a guy told me he was using 200' of hose on the back of a town home complex when his machine stopped. He leisurely walled back to the front of the unit to see two guys loading his machine into a truck. They just cut the houses and ran!

Sent from my mobile Interociter.

Haven't heard a peep, but make a suggestion. Find out we have some picky eaters around here so I'm game for just about anything.

Planning ahead anyone?

Now that the excitement of Christmas and New Year's is past, and your cubicle farmers are back at work, doesn't it suck to not have anything to look forward to?

I'd like to fill that gap in your life.

How about we plan on a January central Virginia ADV party?

I am offering to host an ADV party to help get us all thru the winter doldrums.

Location: our 7,000 sq ft luxury warehouse in downtown Petersburg.

Date: a Saturday, and I'd like to suggest the 25th of January.

Time: from 4 pm onward, with floor accommodations offered for those traveling long distances.

Style: Potluck buffet for those who can. Donations accepted for those who can't cook. Teresa and I can lay out a nice spread if necessary.

Cost of admission: Watching my TAT movie from Joe's and my summer trip. But for those who have endured it already (Poor Man's 500 attendees), you can shoot pool and rock out in the next room with no penalty at all.....

Disclaimer: I'd actually prefer if this was a 4-wheel event. No need to compare our manhoods by trying to ride to an event in January where good times and adult beverages are to be had.

Also this would be open to any ADV inmate who wants to come. Charlottesville, VA Beach, Catherders, etc are welcome to come.

What do you think? Any takers? What else are you going to be doing on a Saturday in late January?

Post up if you think this is a good idea and you think you could make it.

jeff

Those Honda 450's already have headlights! Could we see a street legal version for '15?

My 450X has a headlight, and as soon as I install the Baja Kit it will be street legal. Already have the title and registration and plate. Want to come to WV and try it? Might make your give up the orange kool-aid.

EDIT: Actually, I'm out for the RTE. I've been reminded I'm not supposed to eat or drink anything past midnight prior to my pre-op testing at noon on Friday.

Sucks, but that's the way it is.

Thank you Kurt. Whoo hoo! The party is on.

Post up if you'd like to come. Wives and girlfriends are welcome, but preferably not at the same time....... We are a family friendly place.
