Where are you in Texas????

See my sig, If you're close I may be able to help you with it.

I'm about to make one for my Tenere before Spring, very similar to the one I built for my KLR! Only with a bigger wheel.

North Fort Worth, not too far. My plan is good, hitch is done and time is the issue. Hope to finish it before summer.

Been thinking about building a trailer for a long time - even started collecting some parts (got a scooter front end for wheel and a rear shock).

Got a lot of inspiration from this thread - but none seem to jump out and speak to me as much as this trailer did:

Photo came from this thread: (very moving story)

There were a bunch more photos showing lots of detail - just wish I could have captured some of them before they got deleted.

I want to see more photos on the build - like the suspension, coupler connection - etc. What wheel are you using? Is that a bicycle wheel?
I like your approach to using a box design as opposed to making a flatbed I may alter my approach once i see more on yours. Thanks for sharing.

Rear suspension is off n mini trail bike, wheelrim off a kawasaki 250 sportbike front, 16 inches, tire is an Avon scooter tire. The shock has adjustable compression and rebound and a 250 lb /inch spring.
Backbone frame is thickwall dom tube, 2inches and the rest is thinwall 1 1/4 inch square tube. The towbar and attachment plate is UniGo.
No idea of the weight but this is built for a purpose and not for light weight. It pulls easy and is not noticeable in cornering or regular riding. The suspension actually works and it does not bounce.
i am quite satisfied so far. I received the other 2 cases in the mail on friday and the mounts in on order. I wil show more as I go.

Because no one makes a hitch i had to build one too. I used 1/4 inch plate, 3/4 inch rod for the bends and 3/4 inch tubing for the straight pieces.

I cannot find a way to attach pictures today, will try later

I really like the idea here. I can see lots of ideas and variations. I like the idea of removable side cases. It should be easy to carry extra fuel as well. This may be the one that finally gets me started putting one together.
