There's room for all of us, and more campspots available nearby if we overload our group area. More campgrounds 1 mile up and 1 mile downriver if we hit the festival size.

Ain't too many other dorks out camping this time of year, so there's lots of empty (and free!) campsites to get away from the crowd, or stay close and be a part of the hooliganism !!!

talking with my young brother TBlume,,we discussed the lack of rainfall, and sub-average snowpack.
My thoughts are, if this continues, then the end of June thru Sept will be NO CAMPFIRES,,and toward the end of summer some road and area closures.
Point being,,we better ride and camp while we can, before the upcoming possible shutdown, therefore, I am tentatively IN!
That,,and I got a real shock on the back of my KLR, so I'm feeling all cocky, revitalized, and shit!
I love my KLR!,,there,, I said it!

Now I gotta do the fork swap,,,,,then it's done!

Damn Jeff, you gotta make it to at least 11pm this time.... It was just warmer by the fire than in the tent so it was time to sleep while you can!

BTW, Glad you two are gonna make it! It's gonna be fun!

No road, but there IS a way to the top from here!

I'm planning on riding Saturday morning. (weather permitting, won't ride in ice)
If anyone is interested in doing a little desert riding let me know!
Conditions will determine the route, but lunch for sure in either Brothers or Hampton Station.

This will be my first year attending (thanks to Jungle Man) I'm super stoked. What is the scene like? Are there tight trails, or is it pretty open? Looking forward to some riding and meeting some fellow riders.

Yes.

That's what I like about riding there.
It's truly whatever you want.
Awesome pavement twisties,
high speed 100mph smooth gravel,
chocolate butter two-track,
open desert wide trails,
and tight OHV single track.

All within 10 miles from camp !!!!
