Yack!,,what rabbits you talkin' bout there Elmer Fudd?

Cottontails,, okay,, depending upon where they are.
    Jack rabbits,,,never,, unless it's a survival sitchee-ayshun,,:puke1
then it's off to a medical retreat for 4 years of cleansing,,and purging,,and spiritual soul searching, and countless hours of asking yourself,,"Why!?,,Why did I ever eat Jack Rabbit??",, and then, some time after that,,,you are certain to die in the end.:deal

Ha! Agreed on the Jack Rabbits! Cottontails would likely be tasty though! Likely more trouble than its worth, but that's a different story. :)

Yep. It seems like a great way to get her "trained" and quickly on her way to an endorsement.
    Thanks for the link!

My wife did Team Oregon and loved it. It's a great program for new riders or any one for that matter that plans on riding street.

I plan on getting her out on forest roads for a couple of days of just getting initially comfortable on the bike, then signing her up for one of the Spring classes. Then I'm hoping to get us out for at least one overnight trip before the big one so she can really have an idea of what we'll be doing.

Can't wait to get the new TW out and see how it does offroad! :evil Should be great for her and a hoot for me after riding the 650L all day

To kinda speed things up, might also help to do one of the PSSOR dirt bike classes. I think they have some that are a few hours long and could jump start her skills.

I'll look into that. Anything we can do to get her to fall in love with a bike is a good idea in my book! :)

Hhmmmm. She's to go on a TW. Means I wouldn't be holding anyone up on a TW. Hmm

Water filitration is just more crap to pack, IMHO, we stopped doing that after year one. as stated above a camel back and an extra bottle of water is sufficient. I can't think of one area on the route where you need to filter water. All the stores and gas stops will let you fill your pack for free from the soda fountains. And it will be summer, fer cryin out loud. Jump in the river to shower.
