I don't know the exact milage, but an educated guess would be; from Highway 20 going North, 13 miles of wide good gravel road, then about 10 more miles paved to the campsite.
I was the caretaker at Surprise Valley Ranch on that road for a number of years so that's where my guess comes from!
You'll see the ranch on the north side of the road about a mile after it turns to slab.
Beautiful area!

Edit: Riley is your last fuel stop unless you want to run into Prineville and Hampton Station has great food.

OK. I guess we'll have fun.
If you say so.
If we must
But it'd be soooo much easier if you were there

Has anyone hit up the Millican ODOT pit play area? It looks like it could be some fun.

Hell yes! I have taken the some of the boys and girls up to romp around the trails there both years! S1Marks had some cool video, Apple Jam had a blast last year, but ride was was cut short because we had to make a new tank gasket from an inner tube last year! Great spot to improve dirt bike skils and have a blast! Very close by! If it is snowing and wet. that is the place as the dust will be all gone...

HAHA!!!!
Did you wheel that pumpkin in the house and take care of some maintenance yet?
That sprocket and drive gear needed some attention before you go galavanting off into the sunset young man!

I repaired my broken bolt in the subframe, easy fix, not!
The Big Red Pig started first kick... had not started it since the Apple Valley Rally, not bad! I might even change the oil...maybe not?
Might have to change a tire, but that's gonna wait till it warms up...

I think I'm already packed, since all the stuff got put away after the AVR!

Sguishy,
Bad yes! Real Bad, yes again!
It's not parked in my garage tough access, plus the subframe fender brace extender bolt was sheared off so I did not want to damage it! FIXED that and upgraded from 6mm to 8mm! BUT now it is 21 degrees outside!
F#$k me! Now I can ride in the snow??? It's coming!
I'm supposed to drive to the coast to pick up a 06 KTM 200 XCW tomorrow morning.... We will see how that goes! Weather report for Portland just got upgraded from 1-3 inches to 3-5 inches , much less than the coast range, what could go wrong????

Then I gotta get rid of that nasty rear spring squeek she put up with all Summer,...then,...maybe,...I'll be ready to take Punkin apart.

He didn't ask or even care HOW it got there, but there it was.

Right on! A heated garage...kinda. Looks better than furniture IMHO, if you turn them around they can be additional seating.
