Ohlins group buy going on in Vendor

I though I would cross post this here in case some in is looking for a good deal on some Ohlins for you PD.

I will be ordering some next week for mine.

Looks like $635 for the PD with the seperate comp adjuster BM836. This is the one Touratech sells for $794

And like $825 for the one with rebound and seperate comp adjuster BM541

Dan Kyle, who is doing this supplied my R100GS Ohlins last year. Great guy, great company to do business with. Highly recommended!

Solo, can you describe how the new shock improves the ride over the standard? Is it felt mostly when off road or on tarmac as well?

Let's just say it gives you more bandwidth. Better rebound damping, better choice of springs, better control over compression damping. And that pays off no matter where you're riding.

The best way I can descride the difference between the Ohlins and my previous shock (Works Performance) is that where I used to be aware of the back end on the road, and really aware of it on the dirt, I am no longer aware that it even exists.... absolutely, totally completely worth the $$... the stock shock and Works just don't compair.

The bad thing is that the Ohlins rear end improvement will remove the masking of how poor the (unmodified - unracetech'd) front end is and you will be soon upgrading that as well!

I think 7 years is long enough that there must be many newly interested Ohlins customers...
