We've been to WSP, and Naches Creek (that right? the one just outside the State park), I may take the RV there, then "commute".

For those of you who have attended this event, do you feel that Vstroms would have been capable for some of the routes that have been used in the past?

Thank you

Yes, the STroms will work, but with at least a K60 or knobbier. You will also need a skid plate and don't be afraid to get it banged a time or so. Otherwise, there are a good selection of routes.

The routes were set up numbered 1 through 10. Number 1 was mostly pavement and number 10 was a long fairly challenging ride. If it rains and gets muddy good tires and some experience will be needed, but if it stays dry routes 1 through 5 were progressively more challenging but all very doable on a V-strom. Two years ago someone did just fine on his old Harley sportster with knobby tires.

Dangit dangit dangit. Another event I "planned" on attending but other things get in the way. Still contemplating if I want to dig into my trip fund for this.... Decisions decisions...

A little rain would be fantastic out there! Knocks the dust down and makes awesome traction. Big rain...not so much fun.

Just got home from riding out by Plain over the weekend, and I think I have decided the area around Plain/Leavenworth is my favorite!

Real rain would be better than the kinda rain we had-last year the humidity was up there by 10am.
