I am running a Dunlop 606 on the rear right now. I think its the 130/90-18 and I love it. I am no sloutch on the right hand twisty action with my KTM 520 and it is holding up great. I ride alot of gravel and big sharp rock areas and I think I will get 2000 miles out of it.

To bad they don't make a decent tire for the big KTMs. Ive always liked the Kendas Ive ran on other bikes.

Cant wait for this! I'm working on building up the shop van in between sets of boingers this week. Hopefully will have a good amount done by the D100 so I can "REST" in comfort before the race...

Understanding why the 652 requirement %100, I would like to see an exception made for KLRs. They are most certainly NOT Dakar killers, unlike a certain XR. I would think we may get a few more entry's into the class. Mild suggestion

Smokin add BTW

I'd think about it, but I'm not sure my little Wee would survive. Plus, I'd be up against DRs rather than GSes...

I am fairly sure that if you showed up on a KLR and signed up for the ADV class, they wouldn't bat an eye. Now if you won and someone lodged a complaint...
