Holy deja vu! Now is it going to snow 20+" in town like it did last year?

Hoodoo and Willamette Pass are not open. I think Hoodoo's been open 3 days this year and Willamette Pass none. Cannot remember when that last happened.

Willamette Pass today:

I don't think Hoodoo opened at all till February last year. Ashland took out a $750,000 loan to cover last year (didn't open at all) and operate this year.(still not open)

Eventually am guessing that global warming will kill those three.

Y'all ain't the only ones. Alyeska just fully opened last week. Yes, there were grass and rocks at the bottom before that. This....IS....Alaska. Right?

Finally getting some winter around here. It's been super mild and 1/3 of normal snow. We got a few inches of snow Friday and Saturday and today it barely got above 0. Hoooo!

That's the plan tomorrow and Friday!

We'll burn some more gas so the riding season will be even longer next year!

Good for riding but we desperately need snow in the mountains so we can irrigate this summer. There is no snow pac on Satus pass and little elsewhere. Farmers are panicked here in Zillah. I always like to get hammered with snow storms right before spring.

Flew back to Portland from Sacremento last week, and there was very little snow all along the Sierra and Cascades. Only the highest peak had snow. Gonna be a dry year if this doesn't turn around soon. Have a few plants coming up in the yard, and saw mosquitos on Sunday in the warm woods...spring is in the air over here.
