Yep, it's the old one. I drove from Fort Wayne to Memphis to buy it, back when they were out of production and hard to find.
It did have a Saito 150 in it, currently under conversion to a Evolution gas 26GT.

The Rascal 40 has a Turnigy 4260-500kv in it, cheap motor from Hobby King. I can't find that motor anymore, wish I could it's great for 40 size planes.

The small Rascal has an AXI Silver 2208/34 Outrunner. No ailerons kind of makes it boring.

And you're right. As neat as the big one is, the 40 is really fun to throw around the sky.

Did it come as RET from the factory? Looks like the new one has full house AERT..

I concur about the .40. Mine was very lively in the air, lots of spirited aerobatics, albeit rolls were a tab on the slow side.

I finally got one flight in last night....temp in the high50's, not a breath of wind....it was just fantastic....flew till I could not see the plane any longer.....about 6 minutes

Bad weather I have time....nice weather I have no time....my luck.

When rudder only becomes boring, try some basic inverted flight, the damn rudder is reversed compared to inverted flight with ailerons.

The dihedral makes it challenging, too.

I'm selling my little hot rod Gaui X2 if anyone is interested!

Put three battery packs through it at lunch, and took a short video to show that it flies.

)

It has top shelf electronics:
Ikon/TracX FBL system
CC Talon 25 ESC
JR DS287mg servos on cyclic
Scorpion motor
I have 5-6 batteries to go with it, a *BUTTLOAD* of spare parts, etc. If anyone is interested let me know! It's all CF and titanium, it's a screamer!

Just Fininshed This One

Did I mention that I love Cubs? This is the Eflight Super Cub 25e (electric). It's an ARF (Almost Ready to Fly) with lots of scale details.

The carnage....yesterday my son and I discovered the thet huge snow srifts on the sides on the street make great ramps. Since the street was mostly clear we could hit them pretty hard and launch the car into the yard for a soft landing on the 16" that's still there

Today we were doing more of the same when my son launched the car straight up and it landed with a thud on the sidewalk. Needless to say that was the end of today's fun. Anyway I need to what all I need to order besides a new chassis (everything is replaceable on these).

Probably just the chassis itself. The Revo's are pretty simple to work on I've found...

Well the chassis is definitely toast but I also had to order the bottom skid plate kit (#7037) as the main part part was broken and makes sort of a transmission tunnel/brace under the chassis. Finally ordered a new servo that's been dying for quite a while, hopefully when all of this stuff gets here I won't need to order anything else.

TBone racing makes a chassis brace that should prevent that from happening again if you are going to continue bashing it pretty hard.
