I'll be throwing the old lady on the back and heading for a burger to Juntura. It'll be a little more leisurely than chasing the DR around. Besides, I have to schmooz her a little for the Crooked river escape in two weeks.

I'll still be taking basically the same dirt route out through Nyssa, Hat rock road to twin springs, to crowly to shumway cutoff. Stop for lunch, I'm hoping around two o'clock. Hit the hot springs if it isn't packed with folks and probably slab it back to Ontario. I think that will be a pretty long day for he wifey.

Make sure you report back on the conditions out there so I can decide on my route to Spring Break.

Speaking of spring break, do you know if Riley has gas or is burns the only option? I know its only about 15 miles difference or so, but its just that much closer to the middle of the ride. It looks like gas is only about 20 miles away from chimney rock campground also.

MMMM, damn good Burgers and home made fries. Juntura has to have the best greasy spoon place around.

Dave, you were a no show. We ended up doing a little more slabbing than intended. The damn rear brake light switch/sending unit took a shit and started leaking. Welcome to the KTM adv lifestyle. Ride, repair, repeat

Well, the only difference I've noticed from every other year is that the silt beds for the first few miles out of town have been filled with pit run gravel. think a little smaller than baby heads.

And there was still a pasty naked dude in the springs. (not me)

Last winter ride of this season.

Plenty of wood.

Anyone for a spot o' tea?

The DR fan club. Love that bike. Does what you ask of it and doesn't complain.
