Looking for some ride suggestions

I'm looking for some good dual sport riding this Saturday. I'm in Marysville and my riding buddy is in Mill Creek. We're on a KTM 990 ADV and a BMW F800GS respectively. Looking for somewhere to go that has some DS riding that won't be too snowed in. Anyone have some suggestions or some recent intel on conditions?

Thanks

Matt

No ideas? I guess it may still be a little early to try hitting any of the mountains.

Snow Tuesday was at 2000' in the Skagit but it will be higher by the weekend. Still lots above 2500' though and the higher roads like Forest road 17 and 18 won't likely be open till June. I'm the Adventure Center Manager at Skagit Powersports and can show you around if you're not familiar with local roads and trails. Hit me up with a PM or at the store.

wait,,what?

You live there, and you are asking about your local road hookups?
turn the key until all the pretty lights come on,,
then push that button over there by yer right handed thumb,,if you got one of them.
Then yard in on that little skinny lever in front of yer other hand, and then,,and then and then,,geez! how tuff is it to answer your own questions?
let the frikken clutch out and go see!,,report back to us with pics of yer discovery ride!

Rode NF 5600 in Snoqualmie yesterday. Not the best ride I've ever had, but fun for what it was. There were lots of potholes and a decent amount of cars, but very little snow (none in the road). Only about an hour worth of road (1 in, 1 out).

What was Tahuya like this time of the year? That's a helluva ride to get there from where you're at.

Rode with Mattleycrue yesterday at Tahuya... One helleva great day! We'd never been there before and so we just picked a trail out of the Elfendahl Pass Staging area and rode. IMHO, the conditions were perfect, a few mud puddles and the dirt was relatively dry and sticky (a couple of the root sections were slippery - especially on his 990 and my F8GS). All in all, even with the hour+ commute down there, it was a fantastic day and can't wait to get back and do some more 'splorin. We did get some funny looks from the quad riders and small dirt bike guys!
