No doubt! Flying is as fun as the skiing!

Skiing in Bend

So, I'm thinking about making the trek to Bend to ski this weekend. I haven't skied on Bachelor for a VERY long time since I;m a season pass holder at Meadows.
What are the "don't miss" runs that I should take in? Thanks!

Ken

It's been a weird season and hard to make recommendations without knowing the conditions. Saturday the back side off the summit was really fun after about 12:30 but Friday it never really creamed up. Unless it snows, all the groomers are in good shape.

It looks like a storm is going to roll in this week. No telling what the weekend might hold. This is my first year at Mt Bachelor but I have been loving getting to know it. I not sure what you like to ski. For me an ideal day when everything aligns. I like a couple off Cows face area on the summit in the morning. It takes some effort to avoid the mess at Sunrise especially on the weekend. If I am feeling good and the snow is good then work my way over to northwest/outback for the rest of the day either by skiing out the backside or hiking for a run down the cirque.

Storm days Olympic/Old skyliner area for fun mellow trees with less weather to deal with. Rainbow offers similar fun areas but with a slow lift and it is not all that steep.

One of those perfect days a few weeks ago in an undisclosed location.
