Hmmm I learned battlefield acupuncture today... It actually works, don't ask me how but it does. Definitely will keep some of these babies in my lil med kit.
Bolted on H&B upper crash bars and went for a 400mile ride through the Gila National Forest. 73 degrees and wonderful.
Got it cleaned up http://youtu.be/hSabs_vaBYM And put the new DID chain on! Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
Is it just me or does the 800 look much better without all the plastic fairings and junk. I wish they had a new plastics kit that was minimalist, similar to touratechs "enduro" 800. Just enough plastic to cover the airbox, batter, and coolant reservoir...
Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack! :eek1 How is this even possible??? I was just tryin to save a few bucks on a tire change.
You expect us to believe that you pried on that before breaking the bead or even slacking off the TPMS... I give you more credit than that!
what did your soon to be say when you destroyed her wheel? it's not like you have two 658 lying around That nailpolish certanly got to your head
But not too much credit. I was about to remove that tire and after a few tall ones and thought that'd be a great pic for the WTF thread. HOWEVER, I toasted the TPMS sensor. The sensor is shaped like an inverted L. The decal on the rim is supposed to indicate which side of the valve stem the body is on so you can use the fancy Dealer tool to test the sensor. My decal was wrong. I was struggling to insert the iron and heard a crack. Yep, too late. Fragile things. I figured the battery was dead anyway (2007 sensor) but no, it was fine. D'oh! Found a NOS one from Quebec for $70. The PN was superceeded but only for streamlining spares so it should be good. Less than half what the Dealer wants and GS911 can program those now.
