Good and bad news for me. Sold the house but quit the job That's the good news. Bad news is I will be arriving some time that week and after driving cross country. Never say Never but the magic eight ball said signs point to no. I haven't given up hope yet. If you see a guy with A PA license plate say hi.

Count me as one more ADV class rider new this year! Thanks William for the link and note. I'm seriously excited about the notion of packing my bike, riding it to the event, camping from it, RACING IT, and then packing it all back up for the ride home. I can see that I'll be packing an aluminum bottle of Pendleton for the evenings next to the spare fuel.

I think I can answer that one. The long-running BMW F650GS Rotax single that helped Adventure riding along is exactly 652cc and probably why they chose that cc amount.

In fact, I'm signing up for the first time and riding that platform. It will be on a Husqvarna TR650 Strada/Terra (BMW owned them until recently), a breathed on motor, different suspension, etc.

This will be my first motorcycle "race" ever, but between wbedient's suggestion and fact my dad raced this event in the early 70's ....I'M SERIOUSLY EXCITED about this event!

That's it and mainly the fact that the XR650R is under 652CC

I like that but can you add "and little old ladies"?

I'm looking forward to the fun. Thanks for all of you for what you do to make this happen.

Anyone heading from the west side that wants to rendezvous?? Not sure if I'll take Stevens or Snoqualmie but I know I'll pack better gloves and gear to avoid what happened last weekend. Im leaving Thursday or Friday and coming back Monday after the event...

I'll most likely be taking Snoqualmie pass over. It was only wet on the roads when I rode over the weekend of the 16th. No rain. Stevens was a different story on the way back.

Just over one week away!

Dual Sport Poker Run - miles

I intend to ride the duel-sport poker run (route-A) with (1) lap of the iron man poker run included. What is the total mileage for this excursion

I think the Ironman was a 30 mile lap last year. What bike are you riding?

I'll be riding a plated KTM 525 EXC.

The Dual Sport flyer states that route-A is 135 miles. I wasn't sure if that included any of the (recommended) family or IM laps
