Steve commented that the brunch at Turtles looks really good, option A if lousy out

    or, option B

if it's nice, run to the coast on the road bike, brunch at the casino. Loop north or south to the next pass road home

    or , option 3,

ride the katoom on gravel to mapleton for corndogs, doggitter leads a roundabout route.

Assume it means Turtles I just found listed on 27th/Willamette? Never heard of it before.

    Katoom is KTM something??

Doggitter's current skill set will mean lots of head scratching to lead that far on short notice.

Did about an hour and a half out there this morning till I got so damp from a little sweat and a lot of mist/fog action happening. Except for some shovel work and removing one 8" log the first 100-125 feet looks ready. There's another 75' in the middle that's ready. When I get my saw sharpened again I probably won't need the noisey powerchain job out there.

On the way back the little side bag layed too heavy on the side panel, melted a hole in both. :cry Need to make a bender for 1/2" med wall tube so I can make side racks soon.

Sumday. Lots of sumdays to do. Another I just found is 50 series roads around the Drift Cr. Wilderness. 5087 is drawing my attention but access is off 101, long ride.

You can hit those roads from Fall Creek (Fish Hatchery). Go up like we did but hang a left on the 1080. Last time I came in there from Waldport and back out the 1080.

It stopped raining and the sun came out just in time for it to get dark here. It was warm here but soaking drizzle pretty much all day.

my laigs hurt, and my beaten up butt is crotch sore from a wearing out bicycle seat,,and not enuff fat on my ass or practice time in the saddle.
Maybe walking would have been a better goal,,:eek1
I'll need a better seat if Ima do much pedal bike riding,,my skinny old butt says so,,:deal
No bicycles for me for a few,,ow,,:huh,,:lol3:lol3

the worst part about trying to ride for exercise is finding a place to pee when I have to,,that won't get me arrested on a measure 11 beef.

Yeah, real good day. Tim left here a little while ago, Paul broke out of the pack at hwy36/Fish Cr before we went over the top to cut off 10 miles.

Today was rainy off and on till about 3 or so, west over Sheffler, over Fisk to 36, over Prairie Mtn saddle, out Fall CReek past Harlan. Coming into Toledo is about where the last mist/shower hit us I think. The DR putted to a stop just before the gas station there, empty except for the slosh in the second side of the tank. 105+/- miles. Transfered from the spare can tied on the back to get to the station. Fish and Chips in Newport, topped back off in Waldport again since we were looking for clear gas and didn't see it right off. Up Yachats River Rd. onto some assfault with quite a bit of gotcha! green so going was slow in the shade and back down Indian Cr. Paul showed the power of 3 men muscling that heavy bike on all those rough roads with nary a word of lament. The big thumper Tim was on was pretty much babying along all day with us two in tow. I was without High beam and thought the fog of my visor was from my wiping dust/mud off, ran 35ish miles with it open.

I get just under 245 miles round trip for today. Add 40 and 50 from Friday and yesterday to round out the weekend and 2600 since Valetines day purchase. (putting the mileage here more for my note keeping).
