Epic Easter ride

I catch some shit for it being "only a 390" but this bike rocks hard, especially in the narrow stuff

Helmet cam video of my last event. Not the best quality as I'm still learning the YouTube thing. Was much easier before when Contour's site was up and running. http://youtu.be/lHlUSHcaqZI

That was at Ormond Farms, near Millville NJ. Both the Northeast Offroad Championship Series and the East Coast Enduro Series use that property. It used to be less open but after years of use and using a small tractor to groom the trails, it has gotten blown out some.

Went on a training ride today in anticipation of the Mexican 1000 starting in 2 weeks...

About 300 miles today, 85% offroad. Practiced using the ipad mini for navigation!

It currently has a subframe tank, but will be taking it off, which will allow the plumbing to be simpler and make it easier for maintenance issues. This bike will be in the Baja Rally later in the fall.

I have another full Rally Berg that will be in the Mexican 1000, and it has both front and rear Safari tanks.

In my last issue of Dirt Rider (June) there was an article stating that Husaberg as a brand would cease operations at the end of this year. It indicated that parts would still be available. From KTM dealers?

Anyway, if this was already discussed here I missed it ...
I am hoping that parts will still be there if needed.

Technically any dealer of the "new" Austrian White Husqvarna's are the new Berg dealers. Husaberg was re-named Husqvarna and the Italian Red/White Husky's are liquidated.

To my knowledge KTM dealers can not provide Berg or Husky AU or Husky IT parts.

Technically KTM dealers cannot, however for the common parts there is not a difference from the Husaberg or the KTM part number so you just need to ask for the part by the part number at the KTM dealer or online. That said if you are ordering online please try to support the places that keep the Husaberg parts lists etc up because it is not like anyone discounts OEM parts anyway.

What is the deal with the oil drain/ screen combo on my 390.

HB gives torque values for the bolts, but no room for a torque wrench, even my small 1/4" drive.

Anyone found a way to use a socket with extension, or some such combination, on these?

Not that I actually need it, but it would be nice to be able to use a socket instead of a wrench on these.
