Tell us about the trip!
I called my dealer, they know nothing yet.

I rode my SR500 in 1979 from Maine to Salt Lake City so I have experience with the bike. I left on a Sunday so I went up through Canada because of the gas crisis in the US.

With the bike so close to being at dealers I'm surprised there isn't more test rides in all the bike magazines.

I'm looking forward to some fresh reviews.

Grand Prix Motorsports in Colorado (Littleton, I think - can't tell one suburb from the next. . .) called last week and said they didn't know when they were getting theirs in just yet.

I had to tell them that I wouldn't be buying one (on account of my recent GB500 purchase), but they seem to think they will be getting at least two, for those of you interested.

+1 on this. Other than press releases, not a word about this bike. My dealer said they would call me when they get invoiced, which is about a week before delivery. So nothing yet.

Feel free to snub me all you want, call me names, whatever you like, its only the internet!

And you should hear the stuff my wife says about me!

I could not find any good reviews from other countries, its been out in Europe for a year, no?
And other parts of the world have had an sr400 with a carb I think.

Stumbled on a French review of the 2014, opened in Chrome and translated, looks like they had mostly good things to say...

Video I found, you can pause it for some close up shots.
Sure seems like a lot of extra crap on the motor, air injection, evap hoses all over the place, valves and solinoids....

What's your point? Pretty much ALL new road bikes will have that stuff.

The motor was designed to run without that stuff so I don't see a problem taking it off.
