Time fly's when you're having fun!

herman7196 ~

Crazy right!

You and I both joined in Nov 2013!

A lot of great people made this Thread happen.

It's been really fun for me.

Let's see where it goes...

Wow! That was easy to, ahem, fix.

Now you three can go on a group ride(s).

What is the spoiler, anyway? You have been posting about it for months and I still don't know what it looks like.

Here is the spoiler up close

One spoiler off to the UK...

And here is how it sits down low on the Aero's front panel.

For all those who do not know this was the one part that Squar needed to complete his restoration for his Lead...and for all those who do not know the Lead is the Euro version of Aero.

So my daughter had 3 spoilers and she said Squar could have the extra one.

I see. I kept thinking it was part of the headlight assembly.

Brian ~

Don't say that to loudly...It is a sealed beam. I'm just hoping Aero doesn't need glasses because I think there is no replacement...Anyone know ?...Lets see who has Aeroish scoots...Squar,scootrboi,Goof, that guy MyDogBill who popped in with Aero's beautiful twin sister, then we haven't heard from him again...then there were those guys in the very early days...oh hummmmm.

Well anyways someone must know.

Brian, I'm so glad you are back from your fling with privacy.
Hopefully you didn't leave to many Swiss cheese holes in the back pages of the Thread, I'm a little scared to go back and look.

Regardless, It's always fun to prattle with you!

All Aero riders ~ I've seen it said that the US Aero has a bonded - in headlight bulb, in which case, if it fails one can do surgery on the lamp to remove it, then modify the lamp to take a new housing for a removable QH bulb, but check yours out - it is possible that the European assembly (having an easily removable bulb, may have been fitted...?

But if one is unlucky enough to break the glass then e-bay HAS the answer - a replacement lamp from Poland, when I looked it was about 35.00

DON'T BREAK IT!

Red ~ can you post a close-up photo of your front fender please?

Jim

I have a twin to yours also except mine has a factory basket that bolts on the front where those cap nuts are located.Mine drops dead on its face at 50mph but seems like it would go faster with a bigger main jet, Its a 105 now.,anybody try anything else with good results? The sweet spot seems to be around 40-45mph.

Brian ~

I know it's strange...

DaBinCh did mention things seemed blurry.

I guess there is a Scooter Star or Stars out there somewhere South of the Mason-Dixon line.

We will have to just wait till Fox News tells us what we want to hear
