Usa: Make that call!!!!!!

1-866-784-1870 then 0 for customer service, then "other topic". Someone will ask for your VIN, just explain you want to ask for Honda to bring it HERE.

They will ask for an email address confirmation and a phone number. Probably to prevent multiple votes (maybe they've heard from me too many times).

If their customer service is like their technical service for shops they will record verbatim for the record. So be sure to quote our own PaulVT1:

"Honda USA are bloody idiots for not offering it across the pond".

Cheers Paul. Bit of noise ticks the character box for me. I had the can bought before the bike.

Although with a touring screen on, the airbox honk nearly drowns out the zorst. High gear, sub 2000rpm, big throttle opening and the thing blats away with sounds that make me smile. Job jobbed!

I was impressed with the blat i had on one last week. I've seen a '13 plate DCT in Yorkshire that would cost me about 1500. I'm tempted..

Even I would buy one for 1500. Go for it!

I'm still keeping my powder dry for the BMW S1000F - but if that doesn't work out - i'll happily go for a DCT Xtour.

Yeah sorry, I had a brain lapse there :p But it wasn't clear from the context.

Looking at a second hand one next saturday myself... If the price is right... The bike is made for me. I was at the local dealership a while ago looking at the 1200 vfr and that bike is also just shy of perfection for me. Like a k1300s but then reliable and well built...

Sadly they JUST missed the mark with the 18l fuel tank. Make it 21,5 like the xtourer and the vfr is a home run for me. Even being tall as I am, I think I could be comfortable on a VFR 1200. But the fuel capacity just kills it for me :(

Why do you hang a microwave in the middle of nowhere?

1300k's two days and I'm still able to walk. Fill, ride, repeat!

The Honda faithful that loved the 90d V4 all feel the same way.

I had the '12 VFR1200, and it's a midrange beast with a wonderful engine.
You just can't get stuck in the trap of wanting it to sound like the gear driven cam 90d motor.... instead, think of it as a big-bang motor with crank offsets that provide balance and stump pulling grunt from down low.

I had a gear driven cam 90d VFR - great bike.
The 1200 V4 is a different kettle of fish - they didn't ruin anything, they came out with something new and fantastic.

I wish we got the Crosstourer in the states - but Honda is going to be licking their wounds from warehouses full of VFR1200's for years...
