Your bike at church

Let's see pictures of your motorcycle at church. Any church will do but I'd prefer pictures of the little old church, mostly closed down, buildings that dot the landscape of rural secondary roads.

One of my favorite places to stop for a rest on the back roads is in the shade an old church. You can learn a lot about a community at the old church. There's always a cemetery and you can tell where the original settlers came from by the names and when they came by the dates. You can see how many children are there for clues into small pox outbreaks. You can tell when the town became a ghost town because the burials slow down or stop. You will know if the children of the settles still live around by how well the church and grounds are kept up.

I was ridding through Ukrainian settlements this afternoon.

But not everyone was Ukrainian

All in one afternoon riding through east central Alberta. Mostly ghost towns or no town left at all. I guess people used to go to church more, but then again there were a lot more people on the land then too.
