Well, it isn't like I was asking for anything from them. Just inquiring about purchasing one of their bikes to use as a platform for a rally build. And they basically talked me out of it.

Rally-style Mount for Garmin/Touratech

Made this over the last couple of days. Aluminum with SS hardware.

I was wanting to be able to mount a Trailtech Enduro Computer beside it, but there just wasn't going to be enough room. I'll be mounting the Trailtech down on the bars near the clamps. It will be nice to know coolant and air temps, as well as have amperage info. Speed and distance information is well arranged on the Trailtechs as well.

BRP hand guard mounts with likely a Cycra guard.
http://www.brpmoto.com/products?page...roduct_id=2174

Makes room on the bars and is bomber.
I added the threaded inserts and this setup has never moved on my heavy rally setup.

Chris nailed it!

The only other thing I will add in the future is the Gatos Bros pinchy Clamp:

Eliminates the shear factor from the end bolt.

Thanks guys :)

That should solve both problems I have with my current handguards by fixing them in place and giving the brake line that little bit of extra space

Another great setup is shown here
http://www.advrider.com/forums//show...postcount=1951
(the HDB guards with the Gatos Bros end clamps.)

Have the HDB guards for more than a year now and enjoyed numerous crashes (here one can see the difference in thickness and width http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=542381) , plus, they now have the Nex Gen 3D clamp to allow easier adjustment on the bars.

Looks good. Tell me more about that voltmeter. Where is it from and how does it like being in the weather? It looks useful but not so water resistant. I would like to have some sort of voltmeter.

I have been considering replacing my stock computer on my KTM 500 EXC with something else and would like to upgrade with a tach, voltmeter, and coolant temp along with the standard speedo / adjustable odometer. Any ideas?

John is an inmate here (sanjoh). I have not used the voltmeter, but have used the lights with great results so far.

Trailtech voyager has the battery voltmeter and all the other things you are aksing, +gps support so it makes a clean setup as well.

Rally bracket dimensions

Hi

Does anyone have the dimensions of the KTM 690/450 Rally-Bracket holder at the frame?
Would be nice if someone could post it.
I search the dimensions for A,B,C and D.

Sorry the picture is a bit small.

Thanks
Jens

Thanks for the info on the meter.

I am not interested in the GPS part of the Voyager. Is there another gauge cluster available? Another function I would like to get in my gauge is an enduro computer.

I would have said vector, but apparently they don't make it anymore, though it's available from other vendors still.
