Fascinating to ponder how some people can be so proud of something, just because they spent $30,000 on it.

Can't figure out what is mounted on the frame's front down tube?

I'm guessing oil tank.

"This chop is low mean and very fast!"

For about 2 blocks with the size of that fuel tank.

Maybe this doesn't qualify, since the bike isn't really for sale?

You want 4 G's for a XS and this is what you post for your lead pic? leaky old motor with exhaust held together with hose clamps. No seat included, I guess you can just stand on the pegs if you plan on riding it home.

77 YAMAHA XS 650 BOBBER - $4000

I would pay money to see someone try and ride that CB750 WFO and survive. Look at that frame!

Had tuh lay 'er down. Eddie Rickenbacker, WW1 flying ace, pioneered front brakes for safety, defying the logic of his time.

I'm a little embarrassed to say it, but my first bike was a "chopped" CL-450 with extended forks and - yup - no front brake (actually, there was a brake drum on the front wheel but it wasn't hooked up.)

Also the tank came from a different Honda and the seat was home made and held on with a bungee cord.

In my defense, I was 20.

Believe it or not, I not only survived riding that bike for a year or so, but I also passed the riding test for my MC endorsement on the first try and have had my endorsement ever since then (1982.)
