Were looking at trying to make this rally. A riding buddy and I are wanting to make another trip this year and this might fit better for our schedule. Whats the weather like for this rally were thinking tent but we can bring a trailer is it gets really cold at night.

The weather has been quite excellent for three years running now on the same first weekend in October. Days have been sunny and 70's pretty much everyday, with each night dipping to, and just below, freezing.

We have LOTS of inside space by the woodstove for bags and people.
So if'n any a-ya wanna,.....you're welcome to skip the tent and sleep inside.
Bring a pad and your earplugs.

Sweet, great feedback. I will talk to my buddy and we will get a game plan together. I think we will be there. We went to the Wallowa rally and had a great time meeting fellow adventure types.

We want to ride to the dual sport ride Thursday with you guys. What is the fuel stop situations on the Friday and Saturday rides? I have about 130 range in good conditions a little less with tight trails.

Or....bring the kids.
Our dogs will watch them, they're GREAT babysitters
They like wet slobbery faces like most kids, right?

Yeah, Yeah, Yeah,...yer already on the In-List, LP.
You really don't have the choice not to come.
You named this event.
You became one of us (or now, two of us?) at this event.
You are obligated. Period.
Glad to hear you won't lose your job over it, at least

Thursday's planned ride will likely be afternoon/evening short ride, but we can take the time to steer you in the right direction. Friday's main ride will have a fuel/food stop 2/3 the way through, and you'll be fine for Saturday's ride; it's a shorter ride that will just make you feel like it was much longer (committed riders only), But don't feel like our planned rides are the only rides. Head out ANY direction from here, and you WILL have an excellent ride, no guidance required

Sounds like a great event! I look forward to meeting everyone. I live in HR and still getting used to riding dirt out here. Just dumped the r100 in an apple orchard last week :) Glad I got that out of the way...
