May do something. The KTM needs some fresh oil and I picked up a TE450 for my brother to use that needs a stator so I have a couple chores first.

.... Nice! .... A buddy of mine had a TE250 for a spell. I was really impressed on how easy that thing was to work on.

That is why I create an alias email address for each and every "thing" I put an email address into. That way when they start spamming me (or they get hacked and give out my address) I can just delete the alias.

Anyone with a KTM/Husky flywheel puller?

Picked up a 2007 TE450 that needs some help. Ordered the puller, this one, but hasn't shipped yet (though the retailer is sure spamming me) and am needing this bike to run by month's end. Will pay in beer or other ingestible currency.

Addendum: the flywheel in there is toast so if there's a technique to get it off with vice grips and a hammer, I'd go for that too.

Thought about running it up to Big Twin … they could probably pop the fly wheel right on the trailer. (I think they are the new Husky Dealer)

I have a puller from my YZ and one for the DRZ, but I don't think either will work ...

Next request

I need a loaner motorcycle on standby. My annual, epic (to us) brother ride is fast approaching. I picked up a TE450 needing a little work for my brother to use but I'm 10% worried now it won't be ready. I was putting in a new stator when I saw the inside of the flywheel got trashed by the last one. The pulling part is sorted but won't know until everything is in if that's all there is to it. Won't have time for any other parts.

This would be over Labor Day so a stretch, I know. Glad to pay like $300 for four rental nights and let you use the TE450 anytime once it's up and going. Might not need this plan B but would sleep better if I had it. PM me if you have something.

Oh, bonus: lots of accolades for you in the eventual write-up.
