my girlfriend learning to ride

I am free to do anything I'd like and the only thing I had to loose was my mind.

Excellent. I have spent the last two years getting my G/F to a point where I don't worry if she rides on her own. She's on a 2t trailie & is learning how to ride on all surfaces. A great challenge for both of us.
I love being able to share my passion with her. She's totally addicted, too.
Keep on trucking.
Oh, the vids are a great training tool.

Many of the roads in southern Ontario are as dull as dishwater - laid out with Roman precision and with no reference to the nature of the landscape.

Fortunately, there are some areas with a bit of terrain and a few roads with some 'twisties'. Here's one of them:

I have been experimenting with my regular camera (Olympus Stylus Tough) strapped across my chest, although a bit of GoPro footage sneaks in too.

Happy viewing

Video - Labrador and the East Coast

Alright folks this is my first attempt at making a video compilation. Your feedback is appreciated.

In July 2014 after months of preparation, Pete and Derek leave Toronto and ride east on their GS bikes.

The trip took 17 days. It starts in rural Quebec, followed by Labrador, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont.

That was awesome
Loved the views with the camera arm.

the TLH is kind of scary it wet, foggy, potholed filled mud.

should have taken in some more of the Rocks coast.
George St looked like fun as always.
