The build quality is non-existant, saw one up close and personal in Vegas and it looks like something the old communist GDR would have put out, right down to the tractor seat.

Stay away from TnG or anything Chinese.

However: Taiwanese (depending on who you talk to, sorta Chinese) stuff is great though. Kymco is indestructable. I learned recently that they got their start in the 1960s as a Honda outsourcing shop, so all their production and quality control, etc. is identical to Honda. Pretty awesome.
