Anybody know of an alternative source for 276C Touratech mount?
Touratech USA & Areostich are "backordered" for an undetermined time (in mid summer - shocking)
I'm thinking about a trip to Newfoundland in about a month and want to upgrade from my GPS V (no Canada maps) to a 276C.
Or is there an Mapsource upgrade for North America City Select with Nova Scotia & Newfoundland maps ? (My GPS V came with version 4.01 - only "select coverage" of Canada). I don't want to throw much $$ into the GPS V as I"m planning to get the 276C soon anyway.
Thanks for any ideas!

The latest (and final) version of City Select is version 7, supposed to have full coverage of Canada. City Select is phased out and replaced with City Nav. They had a deal to upgrade your previous City Select for 50 bucks, but it doesn't look like it's there anymore.
If you click "Order update DVD" the City Select deal isn't listed anymore.
You might want to just bite the bullet and get City Navigator 8. It should work with your V and will work with the 276C too. However the map chunks are bigger and will eat up memory quick in your V (I have a V and a new 60Cx, updated the City Select v5 that came with the V to v7 with the $50 DVD).
I'd do some checking on the City Select v7 update though. If it's still available it would work on your 276C too.

The MvG is a great mount for the 276/376. The only issue I had was on a really badly washboard trail, the mount was moving so much it bounced the back of my 376 on the 950's windshield a few times. No damage, but it sure does move a lot. This is good for shock elimination, but make sure you don't have anything solid in close proximity.
