Finding by Long and Lat
Ok, this may be a simple question but for the life of me I can't figure out how, on my 276C I can find a location if someone gives me the Long and Lat..
I even tried to find it using mapsource 6.x but don't find that under the find options..

You have to check two things: That whoever sent you the coordinates is using the same map datum as you (usually WGS 84 for our part of the world). And, you have Mapsource and your GPS set to the same coordinate display format (like decimal minutes, or degrees-minutes-seconds, etc.). Maybe in the future, whoever is sending you these things could just send you a .gdb or .gpx file with the waypoint in it. |
