Answers and more questions....

The short answer is that it might be a tough bill to find a one-call-does-it-all retailer. What are you looking for, specifically? The garmin maps, dependent on the unit, are on the unit itself (26xx or 276, 376). They original maps can be ordered from Garmin...as can the upgrade DVDs. No charge for the software but they do charge $75 for the "unlock" code so you can use it. 2 gb Micro SD cards just came out. They are going to be tough to find from a variety of vendors. I know Verizon is offering them, currently. http://www.engadget.com/2006/08/02/s...-microsd-card/
I would want to go with a 2 gb card to load all of CNNA V8 and the potential of some TOPO, too.
Mounts can be had from variety of sources dependent on your needs.

http://www.offroute.com/product/view...sp?X_ID=148773 is a member of the forum who deals with GPS stuff.

I have an excellent mount for my 1150 GS ADV for my 2610 from migsel. It uses the RAM mounting system and provides a place to mount it so it is visible and you can still see the gauges and the windscreen. http://www.migsel.com/store/index.ph...od&productId=6

Hope this helps.

i'd like the OE garmin 60CSx bike / handlebar mount (unless someone can talk me out of it), the US street / road maps (with autoroute) and the US topo, all loaded on my 2 GB micro SD
