I don't golf, but some friends have a little game that sounds interesting called "desert biathelon." Drive a golf ball to see who drops it closest to a pin 200yds away for points - then see who can hit their ball from the tee with a rifle in the fewest shots for more points. Sounds more like an Advrider game to me - maybe if done while on the bike?

hey, Jeff!!!!!

We could find a beater track somewhere in the hills that could be the base for a golf and ride for next spring??

anything up there? "Swannie" at the north end of the BRP is still on the short list

maybe we can find a place in NY, NJ or PA??

get on the net and search out a place where we could pull this one off I'll let you know what I find

Hey Freak...

This is a pretty nice course and not too hard. Put this one on the list.
I used to play a lot, but havn't touched a club for 2 1/2 years. Started playing again in spring and I'm going to the Homestead for 3 days tomorrow and plan to play a round or two every day.

I have been able to play quite a bit this year in Ruidoso, NM. Our company is doing some work on the rez, so we talked our way into some season passes on their course. It only costs us $10 on a $80 course. You can occasionally see elk and/or deer walking around on the fairways, which is kinda different.
Poor Indians.....

NM? yea that'd work

Bryce in Bayse, VA is a nice course. But, with this group Mr Johnny Law would be all around us. It's more of a family place.

We need a "cheap" course with good riding roads, camping, hotels and a watering-hole with ok food.

The search is on!!!

Golf......it's a fun game if you don't take it too seriously. I like golf. Good exercise driving the cart around and you don't have to worry about the cart tipping over like a motorcycle if you've had one too many bloody mary's...(more stuff)
I disagree. Golf Carting is a dangerous and brutal sport.

Coincidently this was the last time I was allowed to golf in Cache County. We were so focused on catching air on a sweet hump that we didn't see the tree on the other side. I think the damage to the a-frame was directly responsible for the cart rolling over later in the day. Sorry no pics of that, too busy playing damage control with the Course Marshall. We made good, part of the bargain was that we were not again to set foot on any course in Cache County.

I live on a golf course, does that count?

Hey you guys in VA, ever been to Willville?
We were there before Charleston, nice campground right off the Blue Ridge, maybe a few of us could get together there for a weekend of dirt riding and 12 oz curls?

Anybody going to Boone next weekend?
