That thing looks like a blast to ride!

I'm wondering if it stays upright without a side / center stand when parked. Any idea?

There's a Piaggio "boutique" a couple of miles away from my place, I'll have to go and see if and when it's coming here..

Stays up

It stays up on its own when you stop, there is some kind of "park brake" thingy that keeps the scooter up and stable even when stopped.

It has a switch on the right-hand side control cluster, which activates some sort of electro-hydraulic locking mechanism. The lock (apparently) deactivates automatically if the vehicle moves at more than 15 km/h and/or the engine goes above 3000 rpm, or at least that's what I've read.

I just finished riding one today and am very impressed. It feels to be one of the most stable motorcycle/scooter I have ever riden. (and I have riden allot of bikes!) The front end traction is truly amazing. Within 5 minutes of riding it I started hammering it thru some serious twisties. You can actually start touching hard parts down and it doesnt do anything unexpected. The braking is another area where it does very well. fantastic feedback and very sure footed. I thought this would be a neat concept but be to qwerky to be actually usefull. If I was looking for a large scooter, this would probably be the one. Now they need to make a large displacement motorcycle with this concept! Think Yamaha FJR 1300 3 wheeler..Very cool!

Question Want to see one

OK so a few of these are around in the US already, does anybody know of any where in Florida or Georgia that might have one already. I want to see one in person and ride it if I can so I can move on or put some money down.
