Matt,

What's on your bike now? The stock pegs for GS's were rubber in the US, these are almost as low as you can go. The TOuratech lowered pegs are infact the same height as the US rubber pegs. The Euro GS (and GSPD) pegs are steel w/ serrated edges that are identical to the R11xxGS footpegs and are about 1.5" or something higher then the US (rubber). versions

I have the fastways in their "lowboy" position, and I **think** they are a bit lower than the stock rubber US ones...

+1 for the Fastways. The grip like crazy and they're a little lower than the stock BMW pegs. Also when i rode off road I kept "rolling" the rubber on my stock pegs. Fastways make me feel much more sure-footed.

The stock rubber pegs are on there. Hell, I can get -1.5" pegs for the Strom.

I'd like another inch or more legroom.....tib/fib surgery?

Doesn't anyone get their seat raised anymore? Usually the seat leaves a lot to be desired on just about any BMW, why not give your bum a treat and go for a custom saddle? Spendy, but worth it IMO

Just last night installed the stock solo saddle WITH improved/heightened foam and a new cover. Custom.

Raised me up a bit, but I'm still six foot five.

Fatways

I just sold a new set of Fastways here earlier ths week that I bought hoping they woul give me a little more legroom.......urned out to be about 5/8 f an inch for $130. Wasn't worth that kind of money for me.

Q-Tech Pegs

I've got a set of Q-Tech pegs on my '89 R100GS but I don't have any photos on that bike handy. I mounted them on my R1150GS Adv for some extra legroom and took a series of three photos:

Stock R100GS pegs on R1150GS

Q-Tech pegs on R1150GS:

Just for comparison, the stock R1150 peg on the 1150:

You gain a couple of centimetres vertically and move the feet forward another centimetre or two going from the stock R100GS rubber pegs to the Q-Techs. The stock 1150 pegs were really high!
