Engine Sync & "Main Jet" issues?
It was a cold and windy night, spent outside.
Trying my best to fix an engine sync problem, couldn't get N1 or N2 to sync? EPR was fine, and the auto throttles worked great. Now this is what I call a "Main Jet." Sorry guys, long night, and now I'm feeling bored.

PS. Sitting on top of one of these motors at idle, all is right with the world. I won't even touch on what it's like at high power!

If you didn't have the nose to the wind, N1 would be all over the place and you can sometimes hear the Fan ''cavitate'' (Stick-Actuators often forget about this and write up the N1's as erratic). If you did have her into the wind, N1 can still jump around a bit if it's gusty out there. N2 & engine temp are fairly steady in both cases.
