New Zumo Update on the way : Version 3.7

I have just noticed that Garmin have put a new version of their firmware in the Zumo, the latest versions are:

Software version: 3.70
Audio Version: 1.40
GPS SW version: 3.00
Bluetooth SW version: 2.40

Garmin has not yet published this on their site, but expect it soon

David

v3.70 is only a Manufacturing support version change. No new User features or function compared to v3.30.

The one update that folks should install is the v3.00 GPS firmware update. This will enhance performance in certain situations.

The replacement unit that Garmin sent me last month:
S/W= 3.60
Audio= 1.80
GPS S/W= 3.00

How does one update the GPS S/W from 2.90 to 3.00 ? I don't see this on Garmin's website or using the webupdater?

Thanks

Cheers

Phil

I usually click on ADDITIONAL SOFTWARE. That'll get you a list of products in alpa order. Zumo at the bottom.

Mine shows current unit software date 4-26-2007 version 3.3.

There are also updates to XM puck software, USB drivers, Mapsource, POI loader, etc, etc.

I tried using the WebUpdater, didn't like it. It was easier for me to download manually.

If this is what you need to update, just click 'download' next to the version number. Save it to your computer and the next time your unit is plugged in, load it to the unit.

I've got the same question as Phil. I can't find where to get GPS 3.00. I have 3.30 for the unit software, but still have 2.90 for GPS S/W. Can't find it from Webupdate or from the Garmin downloads page.

What he said!

The Audio "versions" are just the voices you select. The GPS S/W 3.00 does not seem to do anything over 2.90 and firmware 3.30 / 3.60 or 3.70 are identical.
