I'm about two hours due east of Touratech. I'll be there for sure, just not sure which day. Probably on Sunday. I want to check out the sales items and do a test ride or two if possible.

I live in the very south of Germany at the east end of Lake Constance, between Wangen im Allgäu and Lindau. I'm five minutes north of the Austrian border right off the A96. Any adventure riders travelling past that want to avail themselves of my guestroom are always welcome. If you're going to be in this area and want to hook up for local riding or overnight trips in the Alps drop me a line.

Ich bin in Weissenburg aufgewachsen, hab' in Wuerzburg gelernt, in Augsburg Umschulung gemacht, in Dingolfing und Muenchen gearbeitet.... und bin nach etlichen Jahren (Asien, Mittel Amerika und Oregon) in der naehe von Asheville, NC gelandet.... und ich red und koch immer noch fraengisch (ok mostly I don't speak german at all).

Sorry for the late response. Bin gestern erst nach 2 Wochen wieder aus Deutschland zurueckgekommen. Jetzt sind meine Deutschlandreisen bis Oktober erstmal wieder vorbei. Hast Du noch ab und zu Gelegenheit Atlanta wieder zu besuchen... ?

My future is still fuzzy. We have not made any decision either way. It's too early for that...

Since my KTM will be picked up today, Detlef has offered his HD for transportation to the Vortex... At least, we will be "two-wheeled"

Not yet, sitting currently in California (business...). Weren't you scheduled to be in China? Are you still coming over to the US of A beginning of July?

In any case, wish you a speedy recovery from the surgery . Time for me to get up. Time difference to Germany is 9 hours...
