SW Ontatio? where my friend? London? Woodstock? I've worked in Burlington, Brantford, and have had the oportunity to work anywhere the boss had a shop. (Carrier Truck Centres) I now reside in Kingston and blast out to Gan for coffee when the mood strikes me...I will definately become the cheese and join Curd when I become a ural owner....

A little north from those two... I'm working in Markdale (Chapman's Ice Cream) and just bought a house in Durham.

Now that's nailing it. I second that, Tedzap. A lot's changed for Urals - they're a much, much more viable bike today.

BTW, saw you're in Roanoke - that's where I'm from. Maybe I can get the Patrol over to the east coast sometime!

I'm sure there are some that will disagree (always great or still crap) but I have a very good feeling about mine. Of the people who have made disparaging remarks, non of them had any first hand experience.

Or vice-versa. You're welcome anytime. I have been mostly riding in Craig and Giles counties, but am mapping out a ride down to the Mount Rogers area. I have re-discovered the blue ridge parkway, the perfect Ural road IMO. I had gotten away from riding it, it begs to be ridden at 2x the posted speed limit on a two wheeler... and- well, that doesn't seem to work long term.

We have a military vehicle parade this weekend, running from the Roanoke VA hospital to the State VA hospital. Should be fun!

I sprayed some "Italian Olive" colored krylon on it, and no one even

Are you planning to do any rides near Port Orchard this summer
(Maybe Tahuya)? If so, email me. If I am in town, I probably will go along
if y'all will have me along.
Howdy Mark 42,

I just this evening got back from Ural-a-ling in the Black Dog rally, I am leaving Friday to ride in the Dirty Face rally and will be leaving near the end of June to do my Ural tour of the USA. That being the case I won't be doing any riding in your part of the country this summer but would jump at the chance to ride with you in the Tahuya area. Maybe you can do some scouting and pick some areas that we can tear up when I ge the chance to get over your way.

I'll have to see if I can break free and do some scouting.

I hear a lot of it is single track, so It'd be good to check
some of it out first.

I'll be looking forward to your pictures again.
