Paint for Ural

I have a Gear-UP with cammo paint. I'm looking for the same colours used on the Ural but in spray cans. Are there any available?

Cheers

Sarge

I don`t know about where you live, but over here if you take any sample of paint (in this case, the cans of Ural touch up paint) to an auto paint supplier they will replicate that paint in spray cans.

That`s what I did when I fitted a Dnepr front end to one of my Urals and needed the Ural dark olive green.

Failing that, call into a car or bike sprayshop and ask there.

Ural Paint

I had the side covers on my bike painted to match my Ural sidecar. The body shop had no trouble matching it. The color they found to match was called "Russian fleet red." Fitting.

You're unlikely to find the actual paint, since they're painted at the factory. As others have said, the matching process is not hard, but you won't end up with a rattle can full of it.

I did.

Re-read my post....I went to an auto paint SUPPLIER.

They supply all the local paintshops with concentrated paints for pro spraygun use as well as making up rattle cans in whatever colour they end up blending and selling.
