Some great vintage bike shots. Worth the visit..

Just surfing around today and found these.

I've never seen a rig like this. Circa 1910

Colorado Springs
Two motorcyclists passing each other on the corner of Uintah Street and Cascade Avenue circa 1974.

Men on motorcycles lined up in the street in front of Stratton & Reade Bicycles & Motorcycles. Dern's Roasting Plant is visible next door, with large "Lunch" sign over doorway. Colorado Springs around 1908.

Old Colorado City 1960
Motorcycle stands at the curb in front of small building "The Hide-Out" poolhall with large "Kennedy for President - Johnson for Vice President" signs in all windows and banner in the front.

Two men sitting on motortrike parked at curb with bedrolls attached and extended front. Colorado Springs 1978.

All photos are from the Pikes Peak Library District/all rights reserved..

Little known fact: This incident has subsequently led to hundreds of thousands of internet threads involving BMW riders whining & moaning about not getting waved at.

Just because it's a zoo out there doesn't mean you have to view it from a cage!

Don't be an impulse buyer... afterall you have time..
