BMW Navigator Garmin 2610 South Africa Map

I am going to Capetown South Africa next month to ride a rented BMW 650 for two weeks and would like to take & use my BMW Navigator II. NOT III GPS.
I called Garmin & was told they did not have a Map for South Africa that I can install on my 2610 non NT GPS.
Question Do I have any options to somehow obtain a map that will work in my 2610 BMW Nav II GPS?

MapSource WorldMap is the first thing that comes to mind. It won't have all the city streets, but it'll have cities and a lot of towns and the roads between them.

It's possible that there might be a 3rd party South African map out there somewhere.

You might also look at using a different GPS. You could probably buy something, use it, then sell it when you get back for just a bit less than you paid.

You might want to take a look in Ride Reports for some of the South African riders reports, and then PM them. I have seen GPS units in the pics from reports I've read.

I have both South Africa City Navigator v6 & Garmap Southern Africa Streetmaps 2008 and work on my Etrex Legend HCX...
