Garmin Zumo 450 Antenna Question

Is there any reason to buy the GARMIN GA 25MCX GPS ANTENNA if I am mounting the Zumo on the handlebar of the bike? I think the purpoose of this antenna is for use when the Zumo is used in a car, not on a bike, but I want to be sure. Thanks

I get reception in the garage of a two story house. Reception is not one of the Zumos problems.

You will NOT require the external antenna on your bike. Internal works great. The Zumo has a sensitive receiver.
