Finally A Thread...

...that has offered up a good comprendalble overall picture of how/when/what software to use. at least for this gps noob. i'm basically at the same place as Viola-tor, scratching my head, eye strain from reading all the posts, till my brain hurts.
Mucho Thanks! to Marjenn and Countdown, and to Viola-tor as well for sounding off my same questions and exzasprations.
i just got the 60csx package from rei with the topo08 (a gift actually), the topo is really! confusing and Hard to read even on a big computer screen, even for a guy who uses n reads maps( it uses the same thin black line indicating a gas pipeline as it does for a road ???) .......and at least 20 Years! out of date.... unless you REALLY do need the contour detail. i would not recomend it at all.
i'm going out and spending the coin for the CityNav NT.
1 more thang, excatly where can i get a copy of R&R ? i've looked for some time and can't find it anywhere( yes i know it's outta print ) anyone wanna burn me a copy, it's so outta date and mapsoure not even selling it anymore so a pirated copy i don't have a problem with....
finally i think i'm seeing the light on this gps stuff
