in search of Malaysia and Thailand gps mapsets...
Title says it all. Any thing out there besides:
http://mapcenter.cgpsmapper.com We'll be leaving in a few days and it would be nice to have some goodies loaded in the garmins. Thanks, Carl |

Not sure about Thailand, but have a look here for Malaysia
http://www.malsingmaps.com/portal/ I loaded up their map for Singapore and it was very detailed and acurate.

Nope - I used to live in Malaysia and the ones you find on Malsingmaps are by far and away the best. There is no official map of Malaysia by any manufacturer eg TomTom or Garmin. The Malaysian Garmin map is made by hundereds of Malaysian dudes driving around the country and mapping it.
