My current mileage on my bikes are:.....................

99 GS1100: 52.8 mpg around town
75 R90/6: 53.7 mpg around town
79 CBX: Not Sure!

This is driving like a Grand Pa, and not raising HELL. My rear Tourance is at 12K with 3K or so left on it!!! Best Mileage so far out of a Rear Tourance!

Usually get 42 MPG, but on a recent trip traveling 65 - 70 long straight, got 48 MPG.

My buddy has a R1200GS, gets 38 - 40 MPG.

My '05 1200GS gets mid to high 30's at 80mi/hr. low 40's at 70- 75. mid 40's at 65-70. high 40's 60-65. I have gotten as much as 55 at high altitude riding steady at 45-55. depends on how I ride. If I really need the range, put in 6th and go 45 steady. Best tank was 280 miles.

Mixed riding.... dirt, ranch, interstate, town for the last two tanks in my F650GS Dakar. Results have been almost exacty the same: 59.7 mpg.

2003 - second owner - purchased with 2800 miles. Now has 4500.

I believe I could get a little better, but I am fairly heavy on the throttle.

I was getting 70mpg at certain points on my trip to Alaska. With knobbies that went down into the low 60s high 50s at times. But still incredible mileage considering the engine size, weight, and wind resistance of a fully loaded bike.
