That's why I advised him to put in gunbroker.com. The last 2 gun shows here in AZ you would be hard pressed to find one under 5 bills. Winchesters were going for even more. :deal

Gun stores here are practically wiped out of stock, their ammoe shelves are bare. Even Wallymart was out of bulk .22 last month. Me & the kiddies had to use one of my storage bricks to go shooting on MLK day.

Thanks. That's what I'm looking for. :thumb

Arg. They take up so much room, and I have plenty of other 12ga. Any idea of pricing?

And I was about to say $50, I'll pay shipping. :razor

Nope sorry, just wanting to get an idea of what I might be able to get for them doing FTF local sales. No interest in shipping them.

$300-400 check. There's a .357 in there as well, but it's in the keep group. :nod

Ugh. Gunbroker is like ebay for guns, right? :bluduh

A glock? :poser Even my dad had enough sense to not buy one of those. :razor

    Any other comments? :ear

I loved the way it shot, and hated the way it looked and felt. That sale was a week ago. Don't miss it at all and never will. I love 1911s and .45acp. I know Ill like the PT145....

I have the 94 in 44 mag. love that gun. I've been will'd an 80's 1895 .30-30 Winchester. not sure if it will be the "hand me down" gun. I think the Marlin is a Better piece. and I only paid just over $300 for it practically unfired. since then I've put at least a couple cases into the range with it. "Everyone should own 1 lever gun.":thumb

and... everything I've seen on gunbroker was 25% HIGH of real world prices. thats why the deals are gone the next day and the same old stuff is there week after week.

Just picked up a Remington 700 in 7mm rem/mag. It's the simple ADL version with inexpensive 3x9 scope and synthetic stock. Maybe not an heirloom piece, but a nice rifle for the money. I like Remington too, because when I was a kid, they donated SIX top of the line shotguns to our Jr. High school so that we could learn an appreciation for guns and gun safety.

Now I just need to turn loose of the WWII mossin nagant (sp?) sporterized sniper rifle.

It's pretty hard to beat a 700. Good value too.

might as well give the nagant away unless it's exceptional. gotta be one of the Best least sought after rifles out there. shame.
