relatively new Motorcycle Museum in Kandos NSW. Very friendly and informative. Called BIKES AND BUDS. Specialises in 1911 - 1970 Harleys. Stop off and have a coffee cake and a chat/see.

I was getting interested till I saw it was just Harleys - which haven't changed much since 1911...

Seriously, I think there's a pretty good private museum somewhere in country NSW - but can't remember where it is. Anyone got an address?
We'll be exploring inland NSW for a couple of weeks - any suggestions about things to see/do for wholesome family entertainment?

Forbes has a car (and a couple of bikes) museum?

Mudgee has a couple at a winery too.

Nabiac depresses me , too many nice old bikes sitting around not being looked after or being ridden :cry.

Looking forward to going to the Powerhouse in Tamworth some time soon , heard only good things of it :D . Might make it the first nights stop over on the way to Kenilworth for the TK 2013 memorial ride :evil.

Best motorcycle museum is just west of Ipswich, on the road to Toowoomba... Stuff all harleys, brilliant bikes.

Bicheno Tas is also a great one, small but first class.

PBee has also mentioned a great one in SA that I hope to visit one day soon.

Go to a big open vintage veteran and classic rally ...they are usually friendly folk (weird but friendly). Not only do you get to see them, hear them, and smell them. You also get angles on ownership and maintainence not just glossed up bikes. Get one and you can even get amongst them - more fun.

    So good.

There's one on Australia Day this year celebrating the parellel twin but all sorts will be there.
